The main motto of organizing exam is to examine the capability of advocate to practice the profession of law in India. It is qualifying examination conducted with objective to offer “Certificate of Practice” for legal profession. All India Bar Examination is organized around 40 cities in India. Online Registration for this test lasts till 31.10.2017 while Last date for receiving Offline Application forms at BCI-Delhi is 08.11.2017. This year, AIBE XI Exam is scheduled to be held on 03.12.2017. This test is conducted in offline mode. Applicants who have submitted the application form for AIBE Registration will appear in this exam. In this test, candidate’s analytical abilities as well as understanding of basic knowledge of law is judged. All India Bar Exam is conducted in 11 languages and candidates are required to choose any one of the language in which they want to attempt exam. There are 20 subjects in AIBE Syllabus. It is further divided into category-I and category-II. AIBE XI Paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Applicants are required to mark answers in OMR sheet. AIBE XI Exam Pattern

AIBE (11) Exam Pattern 2018:

It’s better to know about topics asked in All India Bar Exam. It will offer you overview of question paper. Have a glance on structure of examination.

  • Exam Mode:

AIBE XI Exam will be conducted in offline mode. There is OMR sheet in which you are required to mark answers.

  • Type of Questions:

It comprise of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

  • Number of Questions:

There are total 100 questions in AIBE paper.

  • Subjects included in AIBE Syllabus:

Questions are asked from 20 subjects. It is categorized into category-I and category-II. Each subject of category-I comprise of 7 questions while Category-II subjects will have 23 questions.


  • All India Bar Exam is divided into 2 parts i.e. Part I and Part II.
  • Category I subjects are comprised in Part I while category-2 subjects will be included in Part II.


This test is organized in 11 languages and candidates are required to choose any one of the language in which they want to give exam.

  • Exam Duration:

All India Bar Exam is of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Aspirants with 80% or more disability will get extra time of 20 minutes per hour to attempt exam.

  • Negative Marking:

There is no provision of negative marking in exam.
