Part II: General Awareness:

  • No, of questions asked : 50
  • No. of Marks : 50

  • You should try to focus more on this part because English Language & comprehension section carries more weight age, and divide your preparation time accordingly to qualify this exam easily.
  • Candidates are advised to practice regularly Comprehension from a good book along with some parallel English text reading like any book/magazine etc. and it may be really added an advantage to your preparation.

SSC Stenographer Preparation for Stage II – Skill Test:

  • Candidates who will secure goods marks in the Written Examination; he/ she will only be eligible to gets a call for the Skill Test.
  • The skill test is of qualifying nature and the qualifying standards for different categories of candidates are set by the commission.
  • The candidates who appear for the stenography test are given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ respectively.

    I want to know that, if a question is not attended in the SSC Stenographer exam, whether 0.25 mark is deducted or no mark is deducted. Pl. conform.
