Supreme Court on Monday ruled that a person facing criminal cases cannot be considered suitable for appointment in government service, even if he or she is acquitted or reaches or unless acquitted of the charges.

After that Islam approached Administrative Tribunal which also did not accepted and dismissed his plea. Finally he approached the High Court, and the court directed his appointment till the final decision of the case pending against him.

Which Section of Law Signifies the Terms Related to Government Job if any Criminal Case?

Under section 420, 468 & 381of IPC, a person was facing criminal charges are not eligible for Government job until final decision related to criminal charged will be finalize by the court.

All the process of witnesses were completed, but only the investigation by Investigation officer was pending, since the final investigation was not completed and there was possibility for him to get selected as Lower Grade Clerk (LGC).
