Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted by 16 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission into Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Degree programme (LL.B & LL.M.). It is national level entrance test for the admission to law courses. In the upcoming years, CLAT will be conducted by the Chanakya National law University, Patna.

This year test is conducted by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab on 08th May 2016. Around 39,495 candidates were registered for admission in UG Programs while only 37,175 students appeared exam. Around 5,580 students registered for admission in to PG Programms and 5,042 appeared exam. Total 42,217 students appeared exam for both programs.
How Can I get Admission Now ?
Common Law Admission Test is conducted with the purpose to select the eligible candidates who can do their further education from the top colleges of the Law. Appliers’ admission will be done through their qualifying marks in Common Law Admission Test followed by other process of admission. Now selected candidates have to appear for counseling process.

Viraj Ananth of Bengaluru has topped Common Law Admission Test with 174.5 marks. He got first position in first attempt. Vansh Aggarwal got second rank in Common Law Admission Test with 172.75 marks. Many other candidates got rank with good marks.
