DU FYUP StandOff
The conflict has extended between the UGC and Delhi University (DU) on four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP). The controversies between DU and UGC was on the peek point on Tuesday, due to this the Vice chancellor Dinesh Singh announced his resignation, although he canceled his resignation, on the request of Academic council.
This is also in news that Ministry of Human Resource Development has discussed about the future aspects related to this controversies, with the pro-VC of DU. There is also a planning to do Complaint against VC Dinesh Singh of UGC University to not follow the correct process.
The compensation of this controversy had to pay by those students and their families, who came from the different parts of the country on Tuesday. DU has to be 60 thousand admissions, 2.78 Lacks students have applied to take admission in this, which was being started on Tuesday but that was not possible.

The Supreme Court refused to hear the petition of Duta
The dispute reached the door of the court. The Former president of Delhi university teacher association ‘Aditya Narayan Mishra’ has filed an application in the Supreme Court against the decision of UGC, although Supreme Court refused for hearing on their application and said that they enter their petitioned in the High Court in this regard. Today, Mishra access the application in Delhi High Court.
High politics on the Issue of Controversy:
Congress stated that, UGC took the decision of deferring the Four-year undergraduate program in haste. Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said in the Rajya Sabha that the decision will have a unexpected negative impact on the BJP government.
But the Reality:
FYUP is a 10 +2 +4 format, of course, as it does in the West countries. English Ghosh Professor of Khalsa College Sjibiti shelf is also in favor of abolishing the program.The VC and his Task Force constituted is recommended 11 Foundation Course (FC) and 26 Intrdisiplinri courses (20 courses Discipline 2 in 1 and 6) for eight semesters in four years’s FYUP.
Under FYUP students will revise all those lessons which they have studied in their previous year which is the wastage of time. The FYUP course has also been made in haste, Indeed, Professors who were given the task of preparing them, created a lot of pressure on them.
