ESIC Marking Scheme:
Marking Scheme for Stenographer- Phase 1
1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Examinees will be shortlisted for Phase 2 in the ration of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in every category.
ESIC UDC Marking Scheme for Phase-I (Prelims)
Marks obtained in phase-I will not be considered for final merit because it is qualifying in Nature. 1/4 of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Aspirants will be shortlisted for Phase II in the ratio of 1:10.

Marking scheme for UDC- Phase II (Mains)
Marks secured in Phase II will be taken into deliberation for the final selection. One-fourth of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates will be shortlisted for Phase III in the ratio of 1:5 i.e about 5 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of performance in Phase III.

Employees State Insurance Corporation conducts the online examination for the posts of UDC and Stenographer. Preliminary examination is of online mode. For UDC, pre exam is of 100 questions consist of 200 marks and for stenographer, it is 200 questions consist of 200 marks. There is negative marking also of 1/4 mark for each wrong question.
