How to Become a Chartered Accountant

Eligibility Required Becoming Chartered Accountant
When the students has passed 10th or either any course equal to that which can be called recognized ,is eligible and can apply Common Proficiency Course (CPC) and After 10+2 qualifying student gets qualified in CPT exam. After CPT IPCC, Article ship/ Training under a Practicing C.A are of 3 years and CA Final is there hence, this is like four stage procedure.

STEP#1: Start CA Course through CPT Route after passing Class 10th
Register with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) after passing the 10th class exams and.
Pass the CPT (Common Proficiency Test):
Take the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) after completing High School (Grade 12).
STEP#2: Registration for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
In order to register for the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC), the candidate should pass both CPT and 12th class. Registration for the IPCC should be done nine months prior to the first day of the month in which examination is held.

STEP#3: ITT and Orientation
Candidate need to complete the 100 hours of training of information technology training before article ship as there is no necessity that it has to be completed before article ship but yes they can complete the training at any time before article ship.

Appear and Pass IPCC
Candidate need to appear both groups of IPCE or either they can appear Group 1 only and later appear group 2.
Chartered Accountant Article Ship Registration
When the candidate has gone through or has passed IPCE Group 1 or both groups then he is eligible to register them for article ship with practicing chartered accountant for a period of 3 years.
