Indian Air Force

HAL Tejas

HAL was started the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) programme in 1983 to enlarge alternate aircraft for IAF’s ageing MiG-21 and the remaining MiG-21 Bisons of IAF are scheduled to be phased out by 2019.
