Indian Bank Recruitment for Probationary Officer will be completed in three stages, the stages are:

  • Preliminary Exam,
  • Main Exam (with descriptive type test) and
  • Interview

  • The Preliminary Online Examination will have objective type questions
  • There will be 100 questions in the examination
  • Each question will be of 01 mark
  • Candidates will be given 01 hour to complete the examination
  • Negative marking will also there as 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Note: The preliminary exam is not the final round that candidates need to qualify. The marks scored by candidate in the preliminary examination will be counted in the Final Merit List.   • The English Language (Objective) and English Language (Descriptive), will be given only in English Language, further the rest tests will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
  • There will be 200 questions in the objective type examination

3. Descriptive Type Test:

The descriptive test will take place on the day of Mains examination.
