Date Of Interview – 12th and 13th March 2015
I am sharing my campus drive experience of Infosys organized by our university on 12th and 13th March 2015. There were around 480 students who were sitting during this placement drive. It was 2 day drive, the Pre-placement and Aptitude was conducted on the first day and therefore the interviews on the next day.
Out of 480 candidates, 37 were for selected for interview after aptitude test.
It was not a stress panel and it was a one to one interview. Interviewer was cool and polite.
My interview went like this,
Me: May I come in sir?
Interviewer: Yeah. Please come in and be seated. (He additionally said that that do not get nervous and be cool. He created a friendly atmosphere within the interview room. Therefore I communicated freely with the HR)
Then they came at the ultimate question. INTRODUCE YOURSELF?
Me: As I was already prepared for this. I answered it self-confidently. I was told each and every top quality of mine, which matters for them and the explanations are apart from the facts described in resume.
Interviewer: Well, Why Infosys?

Me: While am answering the question, he interrupted me and asked.
Interviewer: What do you know about infosys?
Me: I was already collect the knowledge about Infosys from its website and replied as Infosys Ltd (formerly Infosys Technologies Limited) is an Indian multinational corporation that provides business consulting, information technology, software engineering and outsourcing services to its clients.
Interviewer: Why should we hire you?
Me: In the response of this question I was told my unique factors which are valuable for the company & also positive factor of my profile for which post I was applying.
Interviewer: Where do you see yourself after 5 years?
Me: I would like to become the very best employee of your organization. I want to perform toward becoming the professional that others depend on.
Interviewer: Apart from C, What languages you know?
Interviewer: Do you know completely about Java?
Me: Yes (confidently).
Interviewer: Seeing my resume he asked the factors which seemed different?
Me: I was replied for all the questions confidently except some typical terms.
Interviewer: If you are asked to give location preferences what do you select?
Me: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and any place in India.
Interviewer: We are having the areas like Designing, Coding, Testing, Maintenance, in which area you like to work?
Me: I said Development.
Interviewer: Which technology you will work?
Interviewer: OK. Nice to meet you and gave a shake hand to me and said Good day with Smile.
And the results were announced at evening, out of 37, 31 got selected and I am one of them.

It was a bit like HR round wherever they were checking my communication skills and my honesty. 95% of the queries are asked from my Resume. Therefore do not keep inessential things that you simply do not know concerning in your resume. Simply be yourself and give your best.
Don’t get let down if you are not selected in any interview because there might be another company that is waiting for you.
I was rejected by TCS, Capgemini, SAP, Wipro. And at last I became INFOSCION.
So Friends, prepare well and give your best.
So, Candidates who are going to attend Infosys Interview they need to Show your self confidence in front of the interviewer, do not fight with them. Be optimist while giving answer and Establish eye contact with each of the member of the panel.
