The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are self-directed public institutes of higher education, located in India and IIT obtains comparatively higher grants than other engineering colleges in India. IITs have a common admission process for undergraduate admissions called Joint Entrance Examination Advanced. And post-graduate level program such as M.Tech and MS degrees admissions are done on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).  It conducts examination in two parts- JEE (Mains) & JEE (Advanced).

Purpose of Exam:

Joint Entrance Examination by IIT is conducted to give admissions to students in engineering college as per their ranking. Inestimable aspirants have qualified for the main exam and those who will successfully qualify it will be permissible to give JEE advanced exam. All the IITs and Reputed Engineering Institutions accept IIT scores and take the admissions of candidates according to their Ranking.
