Those applicants, who are going to appear in Joint Engineering Examination, which is going to be held on 20 May 2018.  Registration fees of JEE Advanced have also been included under the new GST tax rule.  As according to the resources, those candidates, who are Indian nationals, now they have to pay Rs. 2600 + GST (Rs. 1300 + GST for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates and female candidates). Those Indian nationals’, who filled examination centers in foreign countries, they shall need to pay USD 160+GST towards registration fee.

JEE Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates should be an Indian citizen to apply for JEE Advanced 2018 registration.

Performance in JEE (Main) 2018:

Applicant applying for JEE advanced paper must be among top 2, 20, 000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) 2018.

Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination:

Contenders who are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination are also eligible for JEE Advanced exam.

Attempt Limit:

  • Applicants can attempt the JEE Advanced two times in consecutive years.
  • Candidates, those appeared in JEE Advanced 2017 for the first time may also apply for Joint Entrance Examination advanced 2018 paper

Earlier admission at IITs:

Applier must not have been admitted in an IIT irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program. Aspirants whose admission is cancelled at IITs are not eligible to appear in Joint Entrance Examination 2018.

Performance in 10+2 or Equivalent Exam:

Applicant should score 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD category) in 10+2 or equivalent exam or be in top 20 percentile of their respective boards to apply for JEE advanced 2018 paper.

Age Limitation To Apply For Joint Entrance Examination Advanced Registration:

  • Aspirants who are going to apply against this entrance examination must have been born on or after October 1, 1993.
  • However, five years relaxation will be provided to candidates that belong to the categories of to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1988.
