Changes introduced in JEE Advanced Exam Pattern!!! IIT Kanpur will organize JEE Advanced Exam on 20.05.2018 through online mode (computer based test). JEE Advanced Exam Scheme comprise all details concerning type and nature of questions, marking scheme, time allotted to attempt question paper. There are 2 papers in JEE Advanced & it is mandatory to appear in both the papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. As per JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2018, question paper will be asked in English & Hindi Language.

Joint Entrance Examination Advanced is a national level entrance exam organized for providing admissions into various undergraduate programmes across IITs and ISM. The exam conducting IIT decides and introduces changes in Joint Entrance Examination paper pattern. However, there are no major or drastic changes in paper pattern.   • 4 marks will be awarded for each right answer. (If only the bubbles corresponding to options are darkened).
  • 1 mark will be awarded for aspirants as partial mark for darkening a bubble corresponding to each correct option provided no incorrect option is darkened.
  • Negative marking depends upon the section.
  • For section 1 and 3, 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer while for Section 2, 2 marks will be deducted.
  • In Paper 1, questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Aspirants will get 3 marks for the correct answer in Section 1 and 3, and for section 2, 4 marks will be given (If only the bubbles corresponding to all the correct options are darkened).
  • 1 mark will be allotted as partial marks (For darkening a bubble corresponding to each correct option provided no incorrect options are darkened).
  • For section 1 and 2, there will be negative marking of 1 and 2 marks respectively for the incorrect response.
  • For section 3, there is no provision of Negative Marking.
