The president of India is also called as Rashtrapati in Hindi. Ram Nath Kovind won the presidential election after engaging more than two-thirds of total Electoral College votes. India will be confirmed in as the 14th President of India is Ram Nath Kovind on 25th July 2017. Ram Nath Kovind was the leader of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). Prasad was the first President of independent India, from Bihar and also the longest-serving President, for 12 years. He had participated actively in India’s freedom movement. He was also the only president to have been selected twice for the office.
Radhakrishnan was a great philosopher and writer and also held the position of vice chancellor of the Andhra University and Banaras Hindu University. He was a very prominent scholar and academician. Radhakrishnan was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1954 before becoming the President. He was the first President from South India.

Giani Zail Singh

Kalam was the visiting professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. Kalam was a scientist who played a leading role in the development of India’s ballistic missile and nuclear weapons programs.
