Most of the studenst does not know the actual meaning of number system. So A number system is a system of writing for expressing numbers. It allows us to do different type of operations like addition, subtraction, and division.
Chapter 2nd: Polynomials
Polynomial is made up of two terms namely Poly (meaning “many”) and Nomial (meaning “terms.”). A polynomial can have many terms which consist of Constants such as 1,2,3 etc. Variables such as g,h,x,y etc.
Chapter 3rd: Coordinate Geometry
It a branch of geometry which sets up a definite correspondence between the position of a point in a plane and a pair of algebric numbers called co-ordinates
Chapter 4th: Linear Equations in Two Variable
An equation of the form ax + by + c = 0 where a, b, c are real numbers and x, y are variables, is called a linear equation in two variables.
Chapter 5th: Introduction to Euclid’s Geometry
The word ‘geometry’ comes from the Greek words ‘geo’, meaning the ‘earth’, and ‘metrein’, meaning ‘to measure’. Pythagoras and his group discovered many geometric properties and developed the theory of geometry to a great extent. This process continued till 300 BC. At that time Euclid, a teacher of mathematics at Alexandria in Egypt, collected all the known work and arranged it in his famous treatise.
Chapter 6th: Lines and Angles
A line is a collection of points along a straight path. A line extends in both the directions and has no endpoints. It has no definite length.

Chapter 10th: Circles
A circle is defined as the collection of all the points in a plane that are at equal distance from a given fixed point in the plane. This fixed point is called the centre of the circle and the fixed distance is called the radius of the circle.
Chapter 11th: Constructions
To draw a shape, line or angle accurately using a compass and straightedge (ruler) and protractor and triangle.
Chapter 12th: Heron’s Formula
Heron’s formula is a formula that can be used to find the area of a triangle, when given its three side lengths
Chapter 13th: Surface Areas and Volumes
The mathematical definition of surface area in the presence of curved surfaces is considerably more involved than the definition of arc length of one-dimensional curves, or of the surface area for polyhedral for which the surface area is the sum of the areas of its faces.
Chapter 14th: Statistics
The practice or science of collecting and analysing numerical data in large quantities especially for the purpose of inferring proportions in a whole from those in a representative sample
Chapter 15th: Probability
