Central Board of Secondary Education is going to start NEET Counselling Registration from 03-07-2017 onwards. The CBSE Board had organized the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test on 07-05-2017 for admission into approximately 65,170 seats of MBBS and nearly 25,730 BDS Courses. Applicants who have qualified in NEET (UG) Exam they may fill the NEET Counselling Registration on or before the last date that is 11-07-2017. Candidates have to register themselves in the CBSE NEET (UG) Counseling process to confirm their seats in MBBS/BDS course & colleges. NEET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Participants should be an Indian Citizen or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).
  • Appliers should have passed 12th class from recognized board with physics, chemistry and biology as subjects and must secured at least 50% marks in 12th class.(40% marks in case of reserved category candidates)
  • The age of candidates should be between 17 to 25 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Age relaxation of 5 years will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

NEET 2017 Counselling Procedure

Step 1: Online Registration

Those candidates are participating in NEET counselling, the aspirants are required to register themselves by filling their basic details. If you don’t get register, are not able to participate in the counselling procedure. When you have registered, receive an USER ID & PASSWORD in registered email Id & mobile number. You must use given user id & password for further procedure. Candidates who are already registered can participate in counseling by entering their log in id and password.

Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking Of Choices

At the time of filling registration form, candidates need to fill their choices for courses medical and dental colleges by hitting on save button. Once the choice is locked and saved by candidates they cannot be either changed or unlocked. On selection, candidates must lock their choices for final selection.

NEET 2017 mock counseling / indicative seat allotment will be complete after choices submitted by the candidates will be processed during the counseling period of round-1 and indicative seat will be displayed which will be available at that point of time.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

Applicant has made the selection of institutes from the given list of institutes only one time. They need to choose “Indicative Seat”.  While this indicative seat allotment (Mock Counselling), choices made by the candidate will be processed twice on the notified dates during the NEET 2017 Registration and Choice Filling period.

Step 4: NEET 2017 counseling Round 1 Result Publish

The first round of counseling will be taken place in the month of June. The details of medical and dental colleges will be included in result and allotted to candidates as per their choice and rank.

Step 5:  Reporting to Allotted Medical / Dental College

On the basis of result of first round of counseling candidates have to report at the medical college allotted to them within the given dates to complete admission formalities.

Documents Required for NEET 2017 Counselling Process:

  • 10th and 12th class Mark sheets
  • 10th and 12th class Passing Certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • Rank Card of NEET 2017
  • Two Passport Sizes photograph similar to that affixed on the NEET 2017 Application Form
  • Caste Certificate (If applicable)
  • PWD Certificate (If applicable)
  • Counselling Letter issued by NEET Authority
