Do You Know?

Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India have authorized the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test every year. Through NEET exam candidates may take admission in any private or Government Medical and Dental College in various under graduate and post graduate medical courses such as BDS / MBBS/ MD/ MS.

Pattern Of NEET – II:

  • Entrance test will contain 180 Objective Type Questions.
  • Test will contain topics like Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
  • Candidates should write with Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at centre.
  • Candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi.

General Instruction for NEET:

Hall Ticket:

Candidates should download NEET Exam Call Letter from official site because no hall ticket will be sent by the post. NEET Admit Card will contain candidate’s Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Category, Sub-Category, Photograph, Signature, Date of Birth, Language of Question Paper with Name and Address of examination centre allotted.

Timing for the Test:

Examination Centre will be opened 2 hours and 30 minutes before commencement of test. Students will not be allowed in center after 09.30 a.m. students have to take their seats instantly after opening of Examination Hall.

Documents to be carried:

CBSE NEET Exam Admit Card with Post Card Size Photograph duly affixed on it. Applicants may also carry their identity proof.

Barred Items:

Candidates should not bring bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, Any communication device, Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, metallic item, eatable item etc at time of exam.

During Exam:

At time of exam a signal will be given at the starting of test and at half-time. A signal will also be given before the ending time and at this signal candidates have to stop writing. Candidate has to sign two times on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place, which will be instructed by the investigator.
