NEET SS Notification
According to the latest NEET SS Notification by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Super Speciality is scheduled to be held on 10th June 2017. This is the only admission test for entry into DM/ MCh/ PDCC courses. As per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 with effect from 2017 admission session, no other Exam is valid for admission in Super Speciality Courses.
It is mentioned in NEET SS Notification 2017 that NEET Super Speciality Test will be held in different cities in all over the India by National Board of Examinations. NBE is an independent association, which is situated by Indian Government in the year of 1982 with main aim of organizing post graduate exams on all India basis.

Scope of NEET SS Examination:
National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test SS is the test, which is conducted for admission into various Super Specialty Programmes in academic session of 2017. There programmes are following below:
- Through NEET Super Speciality Exam, admission will be offered at DM/ MCh/ PDCC courses at all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities in India.
- Also for entry in DM/ MCh/ PDCC Programmes at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions NEET SS is the single window Entrance Examination.
Requirements for Participating in NEET:
For participating in this entrance test the minimum eligibility requirement is MD/ MS from recognized institution. On the basis of result of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test admission will be given in desired programmes.

What would be Pattern of NEET SS Exam ?
National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Super Speciality will be Computer Based Test. It will contain 200 Multiple Choice Questions. These questions will be based on MD/ MS curriculum followed at medical colleges in India accordingly accepted by Medical Council of India with preceding approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
There are some institutions such as AIIMS New Delhi, SRICHITRA Thiruvanathapuram, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru and JIPMER Puducherry that are not included by NEET-SS.
