Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University is the full form form of KBCNMU, was come into existence on 15 Aug 1990. NMU is situated about 8 km away from Jalgaon in Maharashtra, India & 1.5 km away from the Asia Highway No. 46.

University occupies an area of 660 acres on the banks of Girna river & on a hilly terrain.
