Radiologist Eligibility Criteria

Someone who wants to pursue a B.Sc in Radiography should have completed Science (10+2) preferably with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Maths. The duration of the course is three years. You can also take up one-year certificate courses after 10+2 Science. There are some institutes that conduct 2-year diploma courses in diagnostic radiography and radiotherapy.

How To Become A Radiologist?

The radiologist’s career begins with completion of a bachelor’s degree. After graduating from medical school, you are awarded a degree in MO or DO. After that you can apply as a medical license and you will be able to practice as a Physician.

To become a Radiologist, a Physician has to complete four years of Radiology residency. State license is also very important for radiologists. The license is given after a two-part exam. The two parts cover medicine, anatomy, imaging-related techniques and physics.
