Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship
- University Grants Commission has announced a notification in regard of Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship. Applications are invited from SC/ ST and Disabled candidates.
- The main aim of this scheme is to provide a financial help to SC/ ST and Disabled candidates so that they can pursue higher studies leading to M.Phil and Ph.D degrees in Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Engineering & Technology.

- Candidates who belong to SC/ ST and Disabled category and want to apply for this fellowship must have passed the Post Graduate examination are eligible to apply.
- Students must get himself/ herself registered for M.Phil/ Ph.D at the first available opportunity but not later than within a period of two years from the receipt of award letter.
Selection of applicants will be done on basis of their merit list.
