Eligibility Criteria for Clerk Post
Candidates must be citizen of India with valid Residence Certificate.
Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized Board. Aspirants seeking jobs in SBI must score 60% of marks and 55% for SC/ST candidates. Or Candidates must have 40% of marks in Graduation and for SC/ST 35% of marks are essential.
Other Essential Requirements:
- The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet/provisional certificate or the date on which the result was posted on the website of the university / institution.
- Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.
- Should be able to write and speak English.
- Knowledge of local language will be an added qualification.
Age of applying candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 28 years.
Eligibility Criteria for PO post
Candidate must hold the Graduation Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. Those candidates who are appearing in the last year of Graduation /Semester are also eligible to apply. Reserved category will have relaxation in marks – 55% for OBC and near at 50% for SC/ ST category. Aspirants must also have good knowledge in computer basics.
Age of eligible contenders should reside between 21 to 30 years.
Relaxation in age will be same for both Clerk and PO Posts.
