SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification:

  • Applicants should have completed Graduate Degree in relevant field from a recognized university/ institute or equivalent qualification.
  • Those contenders who are appearing in the last year of Graduation /Semester are also eligible to apply.
  • Reserved category will have relaxation in marks – 55% for OBC and near at 50% for SC/ ST category.
  • Candidates must also have good knowledge in computer basics.
  • Should be able to write and speak English.
  • Knowledge of local language will be an added qualification.

Age Limitation:

The age of the applicants should not be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years. Age relaxations will be extended as per government rules.

Widows, Divorced women and women  judicially separated from their husbands   & who are not remarried  9 years (subject to maximum    age limit of 35 years for General and 38 years for OBC & 40 years for  SC/ST candidates.

Selection Procedure for SBI Clerk: 

Selection will be made on the basis of their performance in the online objective type written test and interview.

SBI Clerk Written Exam Pattern:

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.

Aspirants who qualify this test will be placed according to their marks in descending order in respective categories. Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates will be call for interview who qualifies by ranking high enough in the merit. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks (to be decided by the bank) in interview to be considered for final selection. 5% relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC/PWD/XS category will be available thereon.

      To Apply for SBI Clerk Exam, Candidates belonging to Reserved category will have relaxation in marks – 55% for OBC and near at 50% for SC/ ST category.

    I have one subject in my sir. so ,my catogiry is sc sir. and I have a 65% in . I am elibile or not sir. and can you say any exam date is released for SBI clerk exams.??????? and how much amount for SC candidates?? please guide me sir.
