SOL Eligibility Criteria:

B.A. [Programme] & B.Com:

Applying applicants for the concerned course must have CBSE Class 12 or equivalent board’s SSC examination. or PU examination (10+2) of Indian University recognized by University of Delhi or Indian University or board’s intermediate examination recognized as equivalent with 55% in Aggregate, or 60% Aggregate.

B.A. [Hons] – Programme:

Candidates must have secured 60% at least in Class 12 CBSE or equivalent exam and for Political Science programme , candidates must have secured at least 45% in the aggregate and must have Political Science in any of the examinations recognized by the University of Delhi.

M.A Programmes:

Candidates who opt Hindi from University of Delhi must have 65% Marks or above in aggregate.  M.A.(History)B.A.(Hons.) Examinaton in History from University of Delhi gets 60% Marks and M.A.(Pol. Sc.)B.A.(Hons.) in Political Science from University of Delhi, candidates must have 60% Marks or above

M.Ed. & M.Phil Course:

Candidates who are interested to apply for M.Ed. they should have passed B.Ed. with at least 50% marks in aggregate or any other examination recognized by M.D. University, Rohtak. Those applicants who are interested to apply for M.Phil they should have possessed Master degree in the relevant subject with atleast 2nd Division i.e. 50% marks or grade “C” in the seven point scale.

SOL Application Fees:

Candidates who are apply through online mode, they do not need to pay any application fees but candidates who are applying through online mode, and they need to submit the offline forms of Rs. 100 /- per student.

SOL DU Admission Process:

  • For UG Courses:  selection for under graduate course will be done on the basis of Academic Merit.
  • For PG Programmes:  selection for post graduate course will be done on the basis of Entrance Exam performance and academic criteria.

How to fill SOL DU Admission Form?

SOL Online Form:

Applicants may apply for School of Open Learning Courses by filling online application form.

  • Candidates need to Log on to official website of School Of Open Learning, University Of Delhi i.e.
  • After appearing on home, candidates need to select ‘New User’ tab or ‘Registered Use’ tab depending on applier as who going to register or already registered.
  • Fill Online Application Formappropriately with all essential details and must upload scanned passport size photo and signature.
  • Make payment of registration fee online and submit form.
  • After completing the Registration process, student has to submit all relevant documents along with the copy of Registration Form duly affixed photograph and signature within 10 days either by Speed Post/ Regd. Post or by hand to the address stated below.

SOL DU Admission Online: First Time User/Registered User

Documents To Be Submitted Along With SOL DU Registration Form:

  • Registration Form along with affixed recent Passport Size Photograph (on top of form) and Signature (on bottom of form).
  • Registration Fee payment through online mode (Challan/Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking)
  • Self Attested photocopy of Matriculation (10th) Certificate
  • Self Attested photocopy of Intermediate (12th) Certificate & Marksheet
  • Self Attested copy of Marksheets
  • In case, the result is awaited the candidate will submit self attested marksheet of I yr. and photocopy of the Admit Card (Hall Tic.ket)
