School of Open Learning, Delhi University has begun SOL DU Admission from 1/06/2017 with the announcement of UG application form. Under Delhi University, SOL is famously known as the School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education which is basically a distant learning institution.
Students who want to attain Higher Education and Vocational Skills or wish to do graduation or post graduation while doing professional courses and any kind of job as SOL Application Form is now available on the official website. In spite of M.COM, B.COM, BA, B.SC and others programmes, SOL DU has now added 10 new courses for the convenience of candidates. As per the latest SOL DU Notification, School of Open Learning the last date for filling of SOL application form is 31/07/2017 as candidates can fill in online mode. You can choose any course according to your eligibility and interest as there are total 21 short term courses that are being offered by the university and the fees of SOL courses are in between Rs.3000 – Rs. 25,000.

SOL Eligibility Criteria:
B.A. [Programme] & B.Com:
Candidates must have a CBSE Class 12 or equivalent board’s SSC examination. or PU examination (10+2) of Indian University recognized by University of Delhi or Indian University or board’s intermediate examination recognized as equivalent with 55% in Aggregate, or 60% Aggregate.
B.A. [Hons] – Programme:
Candidates must passed with 60% at least in Class 12 CBSE or equivalent exam and for Political Science programme , candidates must have secured at least 45% in the aggregate and must have Political Science in any of the examinations recognized by the University of Delhi.
Candidates who opt Hindi from University of Delhi must have 65% Marks or above in aggregate. M.A.(History)B.A.(Hons.) Examinaton in History from University of Delhi gets 60% Marks and M.A.(Pol. Sc.)B.A.(Hons.) in Political Science from University of Delhi, candidates must have 60% Marks or above
M.Ed. & M.Phil Course:
Candidates who are interested to apply for M.Ed. they should have passed B.Ed. with at least 50% marks in aggregate or any other examination recognized by M.D. University, Rohtak. Those applicants who are interested to apply for M.Phil they should have possessed Master degree in the relevant subject with atleast 2nd Division i.e. 50% marks or grade “C” in the seven point scale.

SOL Application Fees:
Candidates who are apply through online mode, they do not need to pay any application fees but candidates who are applying through online mode, and they need to submit the offline forms of Rs. 100 /- per student.

How to fill SOL DU Admission Form?
SOL Online Form:
Applicants may apply for School of Open Learning Courses by filling online application form.
- Candidates need to Log on to official website of School Of Open Learning, University Of Delhi i.e. sol.du.ac.in.
- After appearing on home, candidates need to select ‘New User’ tab or ‘Registered Use’ tab depending on applier as who going to register or already registered.
- Fill Online Application Formappropriately with all essential details and must upload scanned passport size photo and signature.
- Make payment of registration fee online and submit form.
- After completing the Registration process, student has to submit all relevant documents along with the copy of Registration Form duly affixed photograph and signature within 10 days either by Speed Post/ Regd. Post or by hand to the address stated below.

- Registration Form along with affixed recent Passport Size Photograph (on top of form) and Signature (on bottom of form).
- Registration Fee payment through online mode (Challan/Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking)
- Self Attested photocopy of Matriculation (10th) Certificate
- Self Attested photocopy of Intermediate (12th) Certificate & Marksheet
- Self Attested copy of Marksheets
- In case, the result is awaited the candidate will submit self attested marksheet of I yr. and photocopy of the Admit Card (Hall Tic.ket)
