  • Prohibited Items:

According to SSC Instructions, There are some items that are totally PROHIBITED like watches, books, pens, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, head phones, pen/buttonhole cameras, scanner, calculator, storage devices etc). Being prohibited means candidates are strictly not at all allowed to bring all these things is the examination hall.

  • Rough work requirements:

According to the Instructions of SSC , Aspirants Do Not Need To Bring any Pen/pencil and paper for rough work as all these things will be provided in the examination hall. To take a look over the time the facility of Electronic watch (timer) will also be available on the computer screen allotted to the candidates

  • Safety and Custody:

Via SSC CGL Exam Instructions, The commission has also stated that if any candidate brings any restricted / prohibited item then the total responsibility of Safety of that gadget will be on the candidate. The Commission shall not make any arrangement nor be responsible for the safe custody of any such item.

  • What if candidate brings Prohibited Items?

If any candidate brings any of the restricted / prohibited items and the commission found it then that aspirants’ Candidature Will Be Cancelled and he/she will not be able to appear in any future examination for further three years.

  • What not to wear?

In the Instructions of SSC it is also mentioned that candidates are also Not Allowed To Wear charms, veil, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose-pin, chains, necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, hair pin, hair band, clothes with full sleeves or big buttons, etc. even aspirants are also advised to not to come wearing shoes as the checking staff may also ask them to remove their shoes. According to the instruction aspirants can wear chappal , flotter, instead of shoes.

  • No of attempts:

With the help of SSC CGL instructions For Exam, Candidates are cautioned that they should Appear Only Once for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1), 2017. Any candidate, who appears more than once for the examination, would not only be disqualified from the said examination but would also be debarred for three years from all examinations conducted by the Commission.

  • What if any disturbance created?

Through the SSC CGL Instructions candidates are also advised to avoid creating any disturbance while appearing in the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1), 2017. If commission found any candidate doing so than the candidature of faulted candidate shall be Summarily Cancelled. And that candidate will also be expelled from appearing in future SSC Examinations. Not only this but also legal/criminal proceedings as well be initiated against him/her.

Candidates must also refrain from creating any obstruction during the conduct of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1), 2017. If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of the examination or creating disturbances at the examination venue, his/her candidature shall be summarily cancelled. Such candidate shall also be liable to be debarred from future examinations of the Commission and Legal/Criminal Proceedings could be initiated against him/her.

  • Re – examination:

Via Instructions for SSC CGL, It is also noted that No Re-Examination would be conducted if it is found that the examination was disrupted on account of instigation by the candidates.

    Sir I have gave SSC tier1 exm for Delhi police last month…and going to apper for this month SSC tier 1 exm ..plz tell me can I give this exam too…as it is written in instructions that only 1 time tier 1 exm can be given….so m worried… Plz tel me…..can appear for this exm or no.
