SSC Exam Pattern 2014

SSC designates for various recruitments in group “B” and group “C” in various government departments such as stenographers in  group “C” and group “D”, Assistants, Inspectors of Central Excise, Divisional Accountants, Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) in CPWD, Section Officer and many more recruitment for all graduate , Postgraduate, 12th pass- out in any stream.

At 4th November, 1975 Indian Government rectified Subordinate Services Commission and amend it as Staff Selection Commission. The services of Staff Selection commission inflate with the time. Now it carry out all the recruitments in group “B” posts whether it is technical and non technical.

Exam Pattern

SSC held various open exams like Combined Graduate Level Examination, Tax Assistant Examination, Junior Engineers (Civil & Elect) Examination, Data Entry Operator (DEO) Examination. It also takes exams of various departmental exams like UD Grade Ltd. Deptt. Compt. examination. Clerks Grade (For Group ‘D’ Staff only) Examination.

Written Examination pattern:

SSC select candidates on the basis of percentage of marks, screening test, test in the relevant subject/discipline, Skill Tests and Interviews.

Exam Process

SSC notifies for various entrance exams through News paper like Rozgar Samachar, Rozgar Prakash etc. in the different months at every year whenever jobs are required by the Central government or Departments. First of all Candidates are required to fill up the application form properly.

After filling up these forms they need to submit applications with all the required enclosures and essentials by speed post/ Registered post and through other ways as mentioned. After receiving the applications from SSC issues Admit Card to the students and Process the notifications for exams.

Age Limitation

Age limit for SSC is as mentioned in the notifications but probably candidates of 18 to 28 yrs of age are mostly required.

Educational Requirements

Educational qualifications for various exams are different.  Candidates of 10th class are also eligible for some required vacant posts. While for some posts 12th and Graduate candidates are eligible. So it gives opportunities to every talented and eligible candidate from 10th to 12th.
