Thapar University UG Eligibility:

Eligibility for BE/BTech programs other than BTech (Biotechnology):

1.)As per Thapar University Eligibility, applicant have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized board and have secured at least 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects as Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of listed ones:

• Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology,
• Computer Science, Informatics Practices,
• Multimedia & Web Technology, Engineering Graphics
• Technical Vocational subject.

2.)  He/She has qualified TIET Entrance Test

3.) At time of filling Thapar University Admission Form, applicant should be a citizen of India.

4.) Candidate is born on or after October 1, 1993 (5-years relaxation in age for SC/ST/PH candidates).

Application Fee:

Those meeting eligibility norms are required to pay application fee of Rs. 1,500/- (Non-refundable).

Thapar University Admission Criteria:

• As per Thapar University UG Admission Procedure, admission shall be made on the basis of merit of entrance test to be conducted by Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
