On behalf of TSCHE, the Osmania University conducts the TS PGECET. TS PGECET Syllabus will be different according to the streams selected by the participating contenders. The main motive of conducting this examination is to give candidates admission into regular Post Graduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy, Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate). Candidates going to appear in the examination are advised to go through the TS PGECET Syllabus 2018 once as it contains all the topics that are important from examination point of view. Along with the syllabus candidates are advised to take a glance over the Post Graduate Engg CET (Topic Wise) Exam Pattern also. With the help of the TS PGECET Exam pattern candidates can also understand the structure of the examination.

Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) is Telangana State Level Common Entrance Test for Admission into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy (ME / M.Tech./ M.Pharmacy / M.Arch ), Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) for the academic year 2018-19 conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), a Statutory body of the Government of Telangana., Hyderabad.The examination authorities release their own TS PGECET Syllabus 2018 so that candidates can easily prepare for the examination.  We the team members of are providing the detailed TS PGECET Syllabus 2018 here, have a look…

TS PGECET Syllabus

The TS PGECET Syllabus 2018 consists of various subjects according to the programmes opted by candidates. Here we have mentioned the syllabus for different courses like Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, and many other courses:

Syllabus for Aerospace Engineering (AS)

Engineering Mathematics

Linear Algebra, Calculus, Differential Calculus and Numerical methods.

Flight MechanicsAtmosphere, Airplane Performance, Static stability and Dynamic stability.
Space DynamicsCentral force motion, determination of  trajectory and orbital period  in simple cases and Orbit transfer.

TS PGECET Exam Pattern

  • The examination will be conducted in Online Mode only i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • The examination will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon (Reporting time at the test centre will be 09:00AM) in the morning session and 2.00PM to 4.00 PM (Reporting time at the test centre will be 01:00 PM) for the afternoon sessions as per the Time Table given in Test Schedule.
  • Computer Based Test (CBT) is of two hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question. No negative marks will be awarded for incorrect answer. The cut-off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 30 marks, in case of SC/ST there is no minimum marks.
