Question Pattern of UGC NET in Electronic Science
There will be two question papers of UGC NET Examination in Electronic Science i.e. Paper-1 and Paper-2. UGC NET Paper-1 is general and compulsory for all subjects whereas UGC NET Paper-2 on the specific subject i.e. Electronic Science (including all electives, without options).
Electronic Science: Electronics means the devices including active (amplifying) electrical components. Electronics deals with electrical circuits that involve active electrical components such as vacuum tubes, transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, and associated passive interconnection technologies.
Commonly, electronic devices contain circuitry consisting primarily or exclusively of active semiconductors supplemented with passive elements; such a circuit is described as an electronic circuit.
