The dates and phases of elections for 5 states – Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Manipur, and Goa have been out. Elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held in 7 phases for 403 Seats. Poll Dates have been decided district wise to held elections in Uttar Pradesh. Counting for final voting will be done on 11th March 2017.

Zaidi told the media that “160 million voters will casting their votes from 1 Lakh 85 thousands polling stations.
