Q 1: What is NDA 2020 Eligibility Criteria?

NDA 2020 Nationality:

  • Contenders who are applying should be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan or for NDA NA I 2020.
  • An Indian origin person who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and East African Countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India for NDA Jobs.
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India with the intention of permanently settling in India for NDA Recruitment.

NDA 1 Qualification:

For Army Wing:

Job seekers who have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam organized by the State Education Board or a University in any discipline are eligible for NDA Vacancies or filling NDA Exam Form 2020.

For Air Force and Naval of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy:

Contenders passed 12th or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics subjects.

Physical Standards:

  • Candidates have to be physically fit as per the physical standards notified by the officials.
  • Candidate who has resigned/withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the training academies of Armed Forces will not be eligible to apply.

Q 2: What is the NDA 2020 Age Limit?

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2004 are eligible.

Q 3: What is NDA Application Fee?

  • To regsiter for NDA Exam, it is must to pay  application fee is Rs. 100/-.
  • SC/ST candidates, Sons of JCOs, NCOs & Ors are exempted from the payment of application fee.
  • Candidates have to pay the application fee through debit/credit card and SBI net banking.
  • NDA 2020 Online Form fee payment can also be done through challan of SBI bank.

Q 4: What is NDA 2020 Selection Process?

  • Candidates who will shortlisted after qualifying the written test have to go through the SSB interview round.
  • The NDA SSB interview will comprise of two stages, i.e. stage 1 and stage 2.
  • In stage 1, candidates will have to clear the OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating) and PP & DT (Picture Perception & Description Test).
  • Candidates will be selected for stage 2 on the basis of candidate’s performance in the OIR and PP & DT tests.
  • Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference will be conducted in the second stage.
  • SSB interview round will be conducted over four to five days.
  • After being recommended at the SSB, candidates will have to go through the medical examination round for NDA 2020 Exam Notification.

Q 5: What’s New in NDA 2020 Exam Pattern?

There will be objective type questions asked in the examination. The question paper will be asked in the OMR pattern. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper based mode. Candidates will use black ball pen to mark their answers. Do not use Ink pen or pencil.

Two and half hours will be given for each code, i.e. Code 1 (mathematics) and Code 2 (general ability test). The medium of the exam will be set bilingually in English as well as Hindi. 0.33 % marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Q 6: How to Fill NDA 2020 Online Application Form?

  • Log on to official website that is for NDA 2020 Application Form.
  • Select “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC”.
  • Hit “Press Here” link for NDA 2020 Online Registration Form Part I.

Part-I Registration:

  • In Part-I Registration, You have to press “Yes” for every instruction for NDA 2020 Apply Online.
  • Then, you are required to fill the personal details, qualification and address details.
  • Now, hit on the “Continue” button for NDA 2020 Online Registration.
  • After completing NDA Online Application Form, candidates need to select the branch preference and hit on “Continue” button.
  • Now, NDA Registration number will be generated on your computer screen.

Part-II Registration:

  • Now, you have to press on the “Part-II Registration” link from the main page.
  • Enter your registration ID and DOB and hit on “Submit” button.
  • After that, candidates need to hit on “Payment” option and make payment of application fee through visa, master, debit card or net banking or through the cash payment in SBI branch.
  • Now, go through the “Center Selection” link and select the suitable exam center.
  • Again hit on “Submit” button
  • Upload your scanned photo, signature, documents and certificates and press “Continue” button.
  • Now, you have to press “Agreeing to Declaration” option.
  • At the end, complete your NDA Exam Registration by pressing “Proceed” button.
  • And, don’t forget to take printout of NDA Online Form for future usage.

Physical Standards to Attempt for NDA:

Height & Weight Standards:

  • The minimum height measurement is 157 cms for the Navy and Indian Army and 162.5 cms for the Air Force.
  • For Gorkhas and candidates belonging to the hills of North-Eastern areas of India, Garhwal, and Kumaon may have a minimum height 5 cm less than the standard.
  • The candidates residing in Lakshadweep may have a minimum height can be reduced by 2 cms from the Standard height.

Question: How many times NDA exam can be given?

Answer: NDA Exam is conducted twice a year. You should be between 16.5–19.5 and must clear your 12th class examination by the time of joining as listed in NDA I Notification 2020.

Question: What are the marks required to clear NDA Exam?
