Eligibility for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam

For Navodaya Vidyalaya class 6

Candidates those who are all set to apply for Class 6 they should have completed their Class 5. If student have cleared their Class 5th from a Government Registered school, then he/she can fill online Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Admission Online Application Form 2021-22.

For Navodaya Vidyalaya class 9

• Candidates must be completed Class VIII during the academic session 2020-21 from recognized school.
• A candidate who are appearing for JNV admission must be born between 01.05.2005 and 30.04.2009 (both days inclusive).

Rural Candidates

Those who belongs to Rural Areas they must have completed their Class 3rd, 4th & Class 5th from a recognized school in the rural Areas.

Urban Candidates

Those who belongs to Urban Areas they must have completed their Class 3rd, 4th & Class 5th from a recognized school in the Urban Areas.

Transgender Candidates

There will be no reservation for the Transgender Candidates. Each and every Transgender Candidate will include in the Boys Category. They have similar reservation like as for various Sub Categories Viz Rural, Urban, SC, ST and Divyang.

Centre for Exam

Each candidate shall appear for the selection test at the exam center allotted to him/her as indicated on the Admit Card. No candidate is permitted to appear from any other center. No request for change of center will be entertained

The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks. 15 Minutes additional time is allowed for reading the instructions.
