TISSNET 2022 Notification
Tata Institute of Social Science offers admission through TISSNET in more than 55 programs in its various campuses. Nearly 40,000 candidates appear for TISSNET every year and Near about 55000 candidates can be participating in TISSNET 2022.
TISSNET Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have three year duration bachelor degree or its equivalent from any recognized college.
- Students who are pursuing final year of qualifying exam but have not passed are not eligible to apply.
- At the time of applying students pursuing in 3 year degree course should have passed in all the subjects (for the 1st to 4th semesters) and candidates pursuing in 4 year degree course should have passed in all the subjects (for 1st to 6th semester) can apply.

TISSNET Admission Procedure
Selection of the candidates for TISSNET Notification will be done on the basis of three stages which are given below:
Stage I: Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test
Stage II: Pre-Interview Test / Group Discussion (GD)
Stage III: Personal Interview (PI)
TISSNET Exam Pattern 2022
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode (computer based mode).
- Type of Questions: The question paper will contain objective type questions.
- Duration of Exam: The exam duration will be of 1 hour & 40 minutes (2:00 PM to 3:40 PM).
- Sections: Questions will be asked from General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability and English Proficiency.
- Negative Marking: There will be no provision of negative marking.

TISSNET Result 2022
After the successfully commencement of the exam, TISS Results will be declared by the organization. On the basis of TISSNET Result, only qualified candidates will participate in Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI). After declaration of Final TISSNET Merit List, shortlisted candidates will go for admission formalities.

Tie breaker in TISSNET
If two or more two candidates will secure the same marks then tie will be resolved as given below:
- At first, the PI marks of the candidates will be compared.
- In case PI marks of both the candidates are equal, then PIT marks will be compared.
- If the PIT marks are also equal, then the entrance score of both the candidates will be taken into consideration.
- Again if the entrance score comes equal, then the candidate older in age will be given preference over the one younger in age.
