TNPSC Group 2 Age Relaxation:

  • There is not exemption in age limit for candidates belongs to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes / DE notified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes (Muslims) and Destitute Widows of all categories.
  • No maximum age limit shall mean that the applicants should not have completed 58 years of age either on the date of notification or at the time of selection / appointment to the post as per the Latest TNPSC Group II Eligibility Criteria.

TNPSC Group 2 2022 Exam Pattern

TNPSC Group 2 recruitment 2022 will be completed in 3 phases i.e. prelims, mains, personal interview, and on the other hand there is no interview for TNPSC Group 2 services.

  • The preliminary examination will be conducted in bilingual mode i.e. questions will be available in both the English and Tamil languages.
  • There will be 200 questions for 300 marks.
  • The duration of the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is 3 hours.
  • The minimum qualifying mark in TNPSC Prelims is 90.

    My age is 37yrs old and mu mother tongue is tamil. But, I took hindi as my second language. So, I will speak tamil & somewhat slightly read tamil. But don’t know to write tamil. Is knowledge of tamil compulsary for group2 exams. Am I eligible to apply. Please advice. Thanks in advance..

      You are eligible to apply for TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment. But you need to prepare well because most of questions from Tamil literature and Tamil Nadu history will be asked in exam.

      Maximum Age Limit to apply for TNPSC Group 2 is 30 Years for general category. For SC/ST & other category candidates, there is no maximum age limit
