TNPSC Group 4 Qualification And Age Limit

A) For VAO,Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Grade-I, Field Surveyor & Draftsman Post:

TNPSC Group 4 Exam Eligibility states that applicant must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification, Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of studies.

B) TNPSC Typist Eligibility:

1. As per TNPSC Group 4 Qualification, applicants should have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies with good academic records from well recognized Board / Institute.
2. Passed Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department as per Group 4 Eligibility.
3. Passed Government Technical Examination in Typewriting as given below:-
   • By Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
   • By Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
   • By Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil

C) TNPSC Steno-Typist, Grade III Eligibility (TNPSC Steno Typist Qualification):

1. Passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies with good academic records from well recognized Board / Institute
2. Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department
3. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:-
   1. By Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
   2. By Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English (or)
   3. By Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil

KNOWLEDGE IN TAMIL (COMMON FOR ALL POSTS)

Candidates applying for TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment must have sufficient knowledge of Tamil language.

Physical Fitness Certificate:

• Those shortlisted for Group 4 posts need to produce certificate of physical fitness regarding standard of vision.
• Candidates having defective vision have to produce certificate regarding eye fitness from qualifies eye specialist.
• Those selected for Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service, Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service and Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service need to produce certificate of physical fitness.

TNPSC Group 4 Eligibility Mark Details 2022

TNPSC Group 4 Selection Process 2022

TNPSC Group 4 Selection Procedure comprise of Written Examination and certificate verification.

Written Examination: 

The written examination conducted by TNPSC consists of single paper (S.S.L.C. Standard). As per the Govt. advice, Interview or oral test will not be conducted. So, the final selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Examination.
