Age Limit:
- For B.V.Sc. and A.H. Programmes: Age must be between 17 to 25 years.
- For UG Programmes: Age must be between 16 to 22 years.
- For PG Programmes: There is no age limit for candidates applying for PG programmes.

UPCATET Registration Fee varies as per category wise and can be paid using online mode and by e-challan.

How to fill UPCATET Application Form?
- Candidates needs to firstly visit the official website i.e. www.upcatet.org
- On the menu bar of home page, go to “Downloads” section and press on “Information Brochure” link from the drop down list.

- After press on “New Registration” or “Apply Online” link appearing on the home page.
- Enter the given details and submit the registration form.

Exam Pattern for UG & PG Programmes:
- Exam Duration: The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- Mode of the Exam: Offline Mode
- Language of Question Paper: English and Hindi
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Based Questions
- Total Number of Questions: 200 Questions
- Total Number of Marks: 600 Marks
- For every correct answer: 3 Marks will be added to the total score.
- For every wrong answer: 1 Mark will be deducted from the total score.
Exam Pattern for PhD Programmes and MBA Agriculture:
- Duration of the Exam: 2 Hours
- Total Number of Questions: 100 Questions
- Total Number of Marks: 300 Marks

UPCATET Cut Off:
The minimum qualifying marks for UPCATET as per previous year stats is as:
- General and OBC Category: 20 %
- SC/ ST Category: 10 %
UPCATET 2022 Counselling:
After the declaration of result, UPCATET Counselling procedure will takes place. Candidate’s needs to download their counselling letter on release from the official website and are required to bring the necessary documents as given below at the time of attending the counseling round.
- Downloaded copy of the online application form duly attested by Registrar/ Principal/ Dean of last attended college/ institution
- Attested photocopies of Class X and XII certificates and mark sheets
- Original and attested photocopies of marks sheets and certificates of Bachelor and Master Degree courses
- Domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh state issued by the competent authority
- Original copy of sport weightage certificate
- Original copy of character and conduct certificate from the Head of last attended college/ institution
- Five passport size photographs with name and roll number written on the back
- Original copy of OBC category certificate issued after March 31, 2022 or valid on counselling date
- An affidavit accounting for discontinuity of more than three months after leaving the college/ institution last attended
- Original copy of transfer/ migration certificate
- Two bank drafts of INR 500 (as counselling fee) and INR 5,000 (as initiation fee)
