Status of RRB Exam and It’s Result!!

Railway Recruitment Board is well known organization for those job seekers who want to apex their career in Indian Railways. The board issued various notifications and also conducts examination. Previously, the board has issued recruitment advertisement for 18,252 vacancies of Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). On 28th March to 3rd May 2016, RRB NTPC 1st Stage Exam was organized. After that, in the month of December the RRB Merit List was declared.

Approx 2.73 lakhs candidates were short listed for RRB NTPC 2nd Stage Exam. On 17th, 18th, 19th January 2017 the exam was held on various exam centers in all over country in three shifts. Do You know about the Next Round??

Contenders who will score minimum stipulated marks or more marks are eligible to appear in next selection round. Contenders are informed that they have to go through the Skill Test/ Typing Test/ Documents Verification etc. The further selection procedure will be according to the posts and it may be organized in the month of June/ July 2017. So, candidates are advised to start their preparation for next stage.

Aptitude Test:

• Applicants who had applied for Assistant Station Master (ASM) (Cat No.7) and Traffic Assistant (Cat No.8) they have to go through the Aptitude Test.
• This test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and comprise of several test batteries.
• The ratio of 2nd stage CBT marks and Aptitude Test marks shall be 70:30.
• If a candidate scores less than the respective qualifying marks in any battery of the Aptitude Test, he/she will be eliminated from the selection process for ASM/Traffic Assistant.

Typing/ Skill Test:

• The Typing Skill Test is qualifying in nature for Jr. Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist and Sr. Clerk-cum-Typist post, the marks of this test will not be considered in final merit list.
• Aspirants who are going to appear in Typing Skill Test have to type in the language opted for Typing Skill Test during on-line application stage.
• Candidates should have 300 words at the minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 250 words at 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer within 10 minutes to qualify in the test.

Documents Verification:

• Afterwards, short listed candidates will be called for Documents Verification round.
• Candidates have to produce all original and Xerox of all required documents and testimonials.
