Eligibility Criteria:

Undergraduate Distance Learning Courses Eligibility Criteria:
B.A. (Hons) English:
- Minimum 65% average marks in 10+2 or other equivalent qualifying exams
- Minimum 75% marks in core English or 65% in Functional English, Elective English or any other English subject.
- Vocational subjects will not be considered
B.Com. (Hons):
At least 55% marks in 10+2 OR 60% marks in 10+2 in technical/ vocational stream with commerce as a subject
B.A. (Hons) Political Science:
- Candidates must have 50% aggregate marks in 10+2
- Candidates must have pursued at least one language along with 3 academic subjects (vocational streams not permitted)
B.Com. and B.A. Programme:
- Minimum 40% aggregate marks in 10+2
- Students from CBSE and NIOS can submit the score of best 5 subjects
- Students from other boards will have to submit aggregate score

Postgraduate Distance Learning Courses Eligibility Criteria:
M.A. Hindi:
- General candidates must have passed B.A. (Hons.) Hindi from DU with 65% marks
- OBC candidates must have passed B.A. (Hons.) Hindi from DU with 58.5% marks
- SC, ST, CW and PWD candidates will be admitted as per DU SOL rules
M.Com:
- General candidates must have pursued B.Com with 65-70% marks
- OBC candidates must have passed B.Com with 60-65% marks
- SC, ST, CW and PWD candidates will have to score 58.5-60% marks in order to secure admission
M.A. Political Science:
Candidates must have passed B.A. (Hons) Political Science from DU with at least 60% marks
M.A. History:
Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in B.A. (Hons) History from University of Delhi
M.A. Sanskrit:
- General candidates need to score 60% marks in B.A. (Hons.) Sanskrit course from DU in order to secure admission
- OBC candidates must have scored 54% in B.A. (Hons.) Sanskrit from DU
- SC, ST, CW and PWD candidates will be admitted as per DU SOL rules

Application Fee:
Contenders are required to pay requisite amount of application fee in prescribed manner provided in University’s Prospectus. Application fee once paid, it will be neither refundable nor adjustable under any case.

Applying process:
Offline Mode:
- At first step, visit official portal sol.du.ac.in
- Move under “Students” tab accessible at top menu bar.
- Choose “Courses” head from drop down list. Select course for which you want to apply.
- Read entire DU Correspondence Courses Notification.
- Keen students may obtain the application from the Delhi University prospectus.
- Fill application form in the instructed manner to apply for admission in DU.
- Enter all asked details in DU Application form.
- Make payment of admission fee through Crossed Pay Order/ Bank Draft.
- Forward Delhi University Application form on or before the closing date at respective address.
Online Mode:
- Visit official website that is sol.du.ac.in
- Choose link concerning DU Correspondence Courses Notification.
- After reading all instructions, in case you are a new user press on the “First Time User” option.
- Enter required details.
- After filling DU Registration form, download Delhi University Online Application Form.
- Put required details in form.
- Deposit the required fee and submit the form & don’t forget to access print copy of same.

To take admission in PG course, as per to eligiblity criteria is it necessary to have graduation from DU only, can students from other university also apply ?

Students who have completed graduation from other recognized university can also apply for admission in PG Courses.

I want to admission in M.A (HISTORY ) but my age is 49 and my graduation from school of correspondence
