Selection Criteria:
- Stage-I (CGCAT): Screening Test (Computer Based Examination)
- Stage-II {Preliminary Selection Board (PSB)}: Candidates will be screened through the Computerised Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception &Discussion Test (PP&DT).
- Stage-III: Final Selection Board (FSB)
- Stage-IV (Medical Examination): Special Medical Examination at Base Hospital, New Delhi

Medical Standards
- Height:
- Asst Commandant (GD), Technical: 157 cms minimum. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. regulations.
- Asst Commandant (CPL-SSA) (Men/Women): Minimum 162.5 cms and maximum 197 cms, leg length minimum 99 cms.
(B) Weight. Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.
(c) Chest. Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.
(d) Eye Sight.
- Asst Commandant (GD) 6/6 6/9 – Uncorrected without Glass.
- 6/6 6/6 – Corrected with Glass.
- Asst Commandant 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other CPL holders (SSA) correctable to 6/6.
- Asst Commandant (Tech) 6/36 6/36 – Uncorrected without Glass.
- 6/6 6/6 – Corrected with Glass
Application Fee:
- SC/ST candidates – Exempted
- Others – Rs. 250/- through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI
Assistant Commandant Salary:
After the completion of Indian Coast Guard Selection Process, selected candidates for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment will receive an impressive salary Rs. 56,100 up to Rs. 2,25,000 as per the rules and regulations of organization.
