Merit based selection process

Here, you don’t have to appear in a computer based test or a pen paper based test. There will be a system generated merit list for this vacancy. This merit list is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Secondary Class Examination of High School Examination or Class 10th final Boards or Matriculation.

It should be noted that the marks given by the different boards have different patterns including the CGPA, Grade and Percentage system. Hence to do a fair comparison, conversion is done in percentage. Hence to evaluate yourself with the previous year cut offs, you need to convert your CGPA or Grade in percentage by multiplying with 9.5. 

For example Grade A1 or 10 CGPA will be taken as 95% of marks. Similarly, Grade D or 4 CGPA will be taken as 38% of marks. Candidates must compare their marks with cut off trends before applying to get a fair idea. An average comparison of all states from all categories is given in detail below.
