JPSC Qualification Details:

Candidates must hold Graduate (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) in Veterinary Science from any recognized University/ college/institute described in the list I & 11 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984 (52 of 1984) and Registered with Jharkhand Veterinary Council or Indian Veterinary Council.

JPSC Age Limit:

Age of applicants will reside between 22 years to 35 years. Relaxation in age will be decided as follows:

• Extremely Backward Classes/ Backward Classes: 37 years
• Female Backward Classes/ Backward Classes: 38 years
• Scheduled Tribes/ Scheduled Castes: 40 years
• Economically Weaker Section: 35 years
• Persons with Benchmark disability: A relaxation of 10 years in respective category
• Ex-Servicemen: A relaxation of 5 years in respective category

JPSC Salary Structure:

Those Candidates who will get selected at Veterinary Doctor Post by the recruitment committee of Jharkhand Public Service Commission will receive pay scale of Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- per month.

JPSC Application Fee:

• General/EWS//BC/OBC Candidates: Rs.600/+Bank Charge
• SC/ST Candidates: Rs.150/+Bank Charge
• Applying candidates will pay JPSC Application Fee through online mode via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking by SBI Collect. No other mode of payment will be acceptable by Jharkhand Public Service Commission

JPSC Selection Procedure for Veterinary Doctor:

The selection process comprises written exams and interviews. The written examination will comprise 800 marks and the interview will comprise 100 marks. Candidates who will qualify for the written exam will have to appear for the interview round.
