In the engineering category, out of 1,71,656 eligible candidates, 88,575 are girls. Similarly, out of 1,39,968 eligible candidates for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, 78,070 are girls. In the veterinary science category, 1,42,820 were eligible and among them 80,044 are girls. Girls dominated in the eligibility list for B.Pharma and D.Pharma courses as well.

How Karnataka CET Result Marks will be calculated?
The Result of Karnataka CET will be calculated as per the exam pattern.
- KCET 2021 will be of 180 marks in total (60 marks each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
- 1 mark will be allotted for every correct response and there will be no negative marking.
- The marks scored by candidates in each subject will be added up to get the total score.

Karnataka CET Merit List:
- The merit list/ Karnataka CET Rank List will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in KCET 2022
- Along with the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50.
- Eligible candidates will be assigned ranks accordingly.
- Finally, a separate merit list will be prepared for the selected students that will indicate the ranks they have obtained in KCET 2022.
