NBE is all set to conduct NEET PG 2022 Exam on 21-05-2022 in computer-based mode. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will organize the NEET PG Counselling 2022 in the online mode at mcc.nic.in. NEET PG 2022 Exam Official Schedule will be announced after the announcement of the NEET PG Result 2022.
MCC will conduct 4 rounds of All India Quota counselling – Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. At the time of NEET PG Counselling 2022, candidates have to register, pay fees and fill out their choice of courses and colleges. NEET PG Counselling Participating Institutes:
The list of participating institutes/universities is listed below:
- 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats of all States except Jammu and Kashmir.
- 100% seats of Central/Deemed Universities.
- State Quota in government colleges.
- 50% All India Quota P.G seats under Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
- Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
NEET PG Counselling Eligibility Criteria:
Only those candidates who qualify NEET PG Entrance Examination 2022 by scoring minimum required percentile which is given in the table below for each category are eligible to appear in the Counselling of NEET PG.
Scope of NEET PG 2022 Counselling
Postgraduate medical seats offered through NEET PG counselling include:
- 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats
- Central universities
- AFMS Institutions
- Deemed Universities
- State quota seats in government colleges in the state
- State quota seats in private medical institutions in the state
- Universities established by an Act of State
- Universities established by municipal bodies trust, society or company

- Jammu and Kashmir Residents are not eligible for NEET PG Counselling of 50% All India Quota seats
- Only those who will register for NEET PG Counselling then called for further procedure
NEET PG Counselling Procedure
A) Registration
Step 1 – New User Registration
- First of all candidates have to visit the official website of NEET PG and hit on “Register here for NEET PG counselling 2022”
- After that you have to submit the details like stream (Medical/Dental), NEET PG roll no., application no., candidate’s name, birth date, security pin etc
- Then hit on “Submit” option
- Afterwards a new page will get opened on your screen, you just have to agree to the terms and conditions
- Then login credentials will reflect on the screen. Candidates will now be asked to take a note of the login credentials and the password which should be protected with a security question.
Step 2 – Submission of Personal Details
Afterwards in NEET PG counselling 2022 Procedure candidates have to submit their personal details like mother’s name, father’s name and address and hit on submit option
Step 3 – Payment
After completing the NEET PG Counseling Registration Process, candidates have to pay below stated amount in the form of non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee category wise through an online medium like Credit/Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

Step 4 – Registration Slip
After payment of non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee category wise candidates have to take hard copy of registration slip for further admission process.

B) Choice Filling
Step 4 – Available Choices
After the commencement of NEET PG Counselling Process, the organization will make available the choices on their official website. Candidates who will submit the fees for both 50% AIQ/Central Universities and Deemed Universities will be eligible to apply for both the category of seats.
Step 5 – Selecting the choices
To select the each preference candidates have to hit the ‘+’ button. After selecting choices, candidates will be asked to hit on ‘Save & Continue’ button to save and continue with the process or ‘Save & Go to Home Page’ button to save the options and exit.
C) Choice Locking
Step 6 – Choice Locking
Candidates must lock the choices for the final submission in NEET PG Counselling Procedure. The choices can be modified until they are locked. If in case, candidates do not lock the choices then the filled choices will be considered final and will automatically get locked on the notified date.
Step 7 – Take a Printout
At last candidates have to take printout of the filled choices as it could be beneficial for candidates in the further NEET PG counselling process.
D) NEET PG Seat Allotment 2022
After completing NEET PG Counselling Procedure, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Government of India will declare the NEET PG Counselling Result on its official website.
NEET PG Seat Allotment will be based on merit score of the candidates and the preferences submitted by them at the time of counselling. The seat allotment letter of NEET PG counselling is a mandatory document that needs to be carried at the time of admission.
E) NEET PG Counselling 2022 – Documents Required
Candidates need to submit original documents at the time of admission which can be checked here-
- NEET PG Admit Card 2022 issued by National Board of Examinations (NBE).
- NEET PG Scorecard 2022 released by NBE.
- MBBS 1st, 2nd and 3rd professional examinations mark sheets.
- Internship completion certificate stating that the internship was completed.
- Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate
- Class 10th pass certificate/Birth certificate as a proof of date of birth.
- Valid ID proof- PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID Passport or Aadhar Card.
- Caste Certificate, if applicable
- Disability Certificate, if applicable
