NLSIU Eligibility Criteria:

| UG | 1. Aspirant will be considered eligible for CLAT if he/she has passed the 12th examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). 2. Aspirant appearing the 12th examination in March/April will also be eligible for CLAT. Such candidates have to produce the proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission. 3. There is no age limit. |

Degree (regular mode) from recognized University securing an aggregate of 55% marks or its equivalent grade (50% of marks or its equivalent grade in case of SC/ST/SAP). Ph.D. Degree in Public Policy: Master’s Degree in Public Policy (regular mode) from a recognized University with 55% on the aggregate or equivalent grade (50% of marks or its equivalent grade in case of SC/ST/SAP). |
| Ph.D. Degree (Inter-disciplinary) | Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in any discipline with 55% minimum marks or equivalent grade and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University are eligible to apply. Applicants who have passed the Company Secretaryship examination conducted by the ICS in India along with degree awarded by Associate Membership of the Institute (ACS) is eligible to apply. Applicants that have passed the Chartered Accountants examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants along with bachelor’s degree in law with 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. |
