Periyar University Ph.D Eligibility Criteria 2021:

For Periyar University Ph.D. Admission 2021, you may possess Master Degree with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade.

Besides this, those who come under SC/ST/OBC(Non-creamy layer)/Differently abled and qualified for the Master’s degree before 19th September 1991, minimum eligibility marks shall be 50% in their Master’s degree.

BBA	10+2 level with commerce. BBA is a merit-based program.
BA (Hons)	Passed in HSC in any stream with at least 50% marks.
BSc	Passed HSC with science stream with at least 45% marks.
B.Com	Passed in 12 levels in maths with 45% marks.
B.Ed	Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 45% marks

PG Courses:

MCA	Bachelor’s degree in maths or stats. The applicant must have a valid score in TANCET.
MBA	Any bachelor’s degree with 50% marks. The selection will be made by the group discussion, score in TANCET/MAT entrance exam, and personal interview.
MEd	MEd degree with at least a 50% mark. The selection procedure for this program is merit-based.
MA/M.Sc	Bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream with 50% marks. The selection for this program is also merit-based.
MCom	BCom, BCA, or any degree in relevant stream with at least 55% marks. There are only 80 seats for this course.

Periyar University M.Phil Admission Criteria 2021:

• Admission to M.Phil Degree programme is based on the marks obtained in qualifying examinations entrance examination and Interview as per M.Phil regulations of Periyar University.
• There will be an Interview conducted by the respective departments which would also intimate the result to the candidates.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending interview as per Periyar University Admission Notice 2021.

• The candidates can take admission in Periyar University in the month of July either directly to the campus or at any one of the affiliated colleges after knowing Periyar University Courses.
