Pune University Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) Admission for Ph.d courses must possess the following qualifications as per the desired Pune University Courses:
- Post Graduate Degree (Master’s Degree) Examination with minimum 50% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) for general category and 45% marks for reserved category from Maharashtra State only.
- Applying candidates should have passed their Post-Graduate Degree (Master’s Degree) Examination Law Faculty with minimum 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserve category from Maharashtra State only.

Pune University Admission Procedure:
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Ph.D. Entrance Examination. The exam consists of two papers:
Paper-I
- Paper –I consists of 3 Parts: Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability; and Reasoning and Language Aptitude.
- The paper contains total 100 questions of 100 marks in total.
- All questions are multiple choice type questions where each correct answer carries 1 Mark.
- There is no negative marking for an incorrect answer.
- Students must have to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in Paper 1 in case of general category and 45% in case of reserved category.
- Only those students are allowed to appear in the paper 2, who will qualify in paper 1.
Paper 2:
This is the subject specific test of a total of 100 marks which consists of 2 parts, Multiple Choice Questions of 20 marks and Theoretical / Descriptive Questions of 80 marks.

Savitribai Phule University Ph.D Exemption Criteria:
If you fulfill the following conditions that are mentioned below you will be exempted from giving the entrance exam:
- If you have qualified in GATE (valid score) /GPAT (valid score)/ SETA {ET/JRF/SRF Examinations of apex bodies such as CSIR-UGC /ICRA/ICMR/DBT and DST inspire fellowship only.
- If you have an M.Phil degree completed from any Statutory recognized University in a relevant subject
- Candidates who have already qualified for Ph.D Entrance Examination Paper- I conducted by the University of Pune.

How to Apply for Pune University Admission 2021?
These are the 14 basic steps to fill UNIPUNE Admission Form:
- Firstly, visit the official website of the university i.e. www.unipune.ac.in
- Now, move cursor towards left side in below section and press “Admission” tab over there.
- Click on Ph.D. Admissions, accordingly.
- Now On One Campus page, select the desired course and then click on Login/Sign up to fill SPPU Admission Form.
- Register yourself by filling out all the details to create account.
- After successful registration, candidate will receive an email containing User Manuel and FAQs.
- Now login and click on Pre-Admission tab.
- Click on Create New Application and fill all the mandatory details carefully.
- Upload photograph and enter all the valid academic details, and click on Save and Proceed.
- Now, click on Print link to proceed for payment using Challan.
- Pay the challan at respective bank branch and after challan is received to the university, pay using ‘Card Payment’ option.
- Pay the application fees for Pune University Ph.D Admission 2021 via credit/debit card.
- After successful payment, bank will update your payment status in one working day in one campus.
- Submit the Savitribai Phule Pune University Application Form 2021 along with challan copy to the University through proper channel.
