A total of 64.40% voter turnout took place in the elections held for the members of 199 Zilla Parishads and 78 Panchayat Samitis in all the three phases.
• Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Labor and Skill Department and Police Department will jointly run a ‘rescue campaign’ from September 7 for beggary-free Jaipur.
• Minister of State for Sports Ashok Chandna said that Rural Olympics is being started in the state in which children from every revenue village will participate in various sports. In this way 25 to 30 lakh children will participate in sports events. “ Fit Rajasthan , Hit Rajasthan ” mission will strengthen the health of the children of the state, the state will be strong.
• An expert team of National Tiger Conservation Authority (NATCA) has arrived to test the possibilities of the proposed Tiger Reserve in Kumbhalgarh in Rajasthan.
• Former Rajasthan cricketer Dishant Yagnik has become the head coach of Puducherry Ranji team.
• Rajasthan Masters Athletic Association secretary Lakshmi Swamy has been made the executive member of the Masters Athletic Federation of India.
• Water will be supplied from Jodhpur with the help of water train in Pali district from October 1 . ( Jawai Dam – Pali )
• Rajasthan has the largest number of universities in the country.
• A camel cart library has been started from Osian area of Jodhpur , which has 1500 books for children up to class VIII. This camel cart will go to the library villages and dhanis and distribute books to the children.
• Subject – India Gets Reading at Home.
• Initiated by – Jodhpur District Administration and NGO Room to Read.
• Rajasthan cadre IPS officer Pankaj Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the Border Security Force (BSF) .
• Mines and Animal Husbandry Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya said that Nandishala will be constructed at every Panchayat Samiti level in the state , under which 10% contribution will be spent by the concerned institute and 90% contribution will be spent by the Gopalan Department.
