NTA ARPIT 2021 Registration Begins!! National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts ARPIT (Annual Refresher Programme in Teaching) for enhancing the skills and career advancement of higher education faculty. NTA ARPIT programme is officially launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Non-Faculty Learners can also apply for the application form, so go through the below given notification details and apply for it before the schedule last dates.

NTA ARPIT 2021
ARPIT Exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
The ARPIT-2020 Exam, to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), is designed especially for faculty learner to upgrade their skills. However, Non-Faculty Learners who wish to enhance their knowledge can also appear for the exam. (Certificate for Non-Faculty learner will be different from the certificate issued to Faculty Learner).
Note: Only those learners who has registered for ARPIT- 2020 courses and undertaken the course will be eligible for ARPIT 2020 Exam.
ARPIT 2021 Application Fee:
For Faculty Learners:
No application fee is to be paid.
For Non-Faculty Learners:
The registration fee varies as per the course:
- General candidates: Rs. 1000/-
- SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS and women candidates: Rs. 500/-
Mode of Payment: The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI or Paytm Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the Examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.

NTA ARPIT 2021 Exam Pattern:
- Computer-based examination will be there.
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) of three hours of time duration will take place.
- Objective type questions will be asked in the examination.
- There will be no negative marking.
- Approximate 100 Questions of 100 marks.
Choice of Cities for Exam Centre:
The City of Examination Centres where the test shall be conducted. It is mandatory for candidates to select four cities of their choice while filling Online Application Form of ARPIT- 2020. Effort will be made to allot Centre of Examination to the candidates in order of the City Choice opted by them in their Application Form.
However, due to logistic & administrative reasons, a different city of nearby area may be allotted. The City of Examination once chosen and allotted cannot be changed (after the closing of the correction window) and any request in this regard will not be entertained.

ARPIT Exam Application Form 2021:
- To apply for NTA ARPIT Registration Form, candidates needs to visit to NTA ARPIT official portal i.e. arpit.nta.nic.in
- Choose “Application Form ARPIT Examination – 2020” link from the home page to fill up the application form.
- Enter all the asked details in the form.
- Upload all the required documents and make payment of application fee.
- Submit the form and take a print out of it for future use.

Documents to be uploaded in Application Form:
Faculty Learner:
The faculty has to upload the photograph, signature and the relevant proof
of being a faculty member like Faculty ID Proof/ Appointment Letter/Latest Pay slip/Promotion Order.
Further, Candidate is advised to bring original documents (uploaded on registration form) along with one photocopy at the exam centre for verification.
Non-Faculty Learner:
The Non Faculty Learner has to upload the photograph, signature and the proof / certificate of learner belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Women/ Transgender/ EWS issued by competent authority (valid and non-expired), in case concession of fee is required.
Further, Candidate is advised to bring original of uploaded documents along with one photocopy at the exam centre for verification.
Note: Besides above mentioned documents, faculty and non-faculty learners are required to carry any one of original Photo Identification Card (valid and non-expired) viz. Voter Identification Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport or Aadhaar Card / School or College ID Card.

Qualifying Marks for ARPIT 2021:
After the successful conduction of examination, candidates will get a certificate and those applicants who will score less than 50% marks will be considered as failure.
The grading system for certificates is as:
Marks obtained out of 100 | Grade |
Less than 50 | E (Failure) |
Between 50 – 59 | D |
Between 60 – 69 | C |
Between 70 – 79 | B |
80 marks and above | A |
SWAYAM ARPIT Certificate 2021:
The certificate of ARPIT 2021 qualified candidates will be issued by SWAYAM as per the grading system. Both Faculty and Non-faculty learners will obtain NTA ARPIT Certificate from SWAYAM.
The grading is done as follows:
