Syllabus for NDA Exam
The National Defence Academy (NDA) is a premier institute that trains the future leaders of the Indian armed forces. - General Ability Test (GAT)
The mathematics section of the NDA syllabus covers a wide range of topics from algebra, trigonometry, geometry, mensuration, calculus, matrices and statistics. The questions in this section are designed to test the mathematical ability of the candidates. Total Marks for the exam are 300. Total Number of Questions are 120. A score of 2.5 is awarded for each correct answer whereas 0.83 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. Total exam duration is 2.5 hours.
General Ability Test (GAT)
The GAT section of the NDA syllabus covers a wide range of topics from physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, current affairs and general knowledge. The questions in this section are designed to test the general awareness of the candidates. A total of 100 questions are asked for 400 marks.
The English section of the NDA syllabus covers a wide range of topics from grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, composition, spotting errors, selecting words, sentence improvement and antonyms/synonyms. The questions in this section are designed to test the English language skills of the candidates. A total of 50 questions are asked for 200 marks.
