TNTET 2022 Notification has been released now. Application can be filled online from 14-03-2022 but the mode of conduction of the exam is pen and paper-based. Tamilnadu TET is a state-level examination is conducted for the teachers Recruitment in different government schools and private schools of Tamilnadu.
This year, Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tamil Nadu is going to conduct the TNTET 2022 Paper I & Paper II Exam. Qualification Needed:
PAPER – 1:
- Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
- Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
- Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
- Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
- Graduation with atleast 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,).
PAPER – 2:
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

For how many years, TNTET Certificate is valid?
TET Certificate will be valid for 7 (seven) years.
Qualifying marks for TNTET 2022:
- Candidates who have secured 60% and above in the TNTET (Paper-I/ Paper-II) Examination will be issued with TNTET (Paper-I/ Paper-II) Pass Certificate
- However relaxation of 5% marks will be given to BC, BC(M), MBC/DNC, SC, SC(A), ST and Person with Disability Candidates

TNTET 2022 Notification:
Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test is a state level examination for the recruitment of candidates into teaching field. There are 2 papers, Paper I for secondary grade teacher and Paper II for graduate teacher. Candidates who clear this test are recruited for private and government schools.
