Vishakhapatnam Port Trust Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria –
Educational Qualification – Graduate / Diploma holders in Engineering (Passed Out during 2020/2021/2022 only ) for undergoing one year Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
Candidates who have previously undergone Apprenticeship or presently
undergoing Apprenticeship Training or presently in employment elsewhere being registered for Apprdnticeship Training under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, are not elioible to apply.
Qualification Details –
Graduate Apprentice –
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by statutory University.
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by lnstitutions empowe’red to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentice –
A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a
of Technical Education established by a State G
discipline.
A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
Age Limit – Age limit as per Apprenticeship Rules
Age Relaxation – Age Relaxation in upper limit will be given to only reserved categories as per rules and regulations
Reservation and Relaxation – Reservation & Relaxation in Vacancies, Eligibility Criteria, Application Fee, Selection Process etc will be given as per GOI Rules and Regulations.
Stipend –
Graduate Apprentice @ 9,000/- Per Month
Technician Apprentice @Rs. 8,000/-

Selection Process – Engagement of Graduate & Technician Apprentice will be purely made on Merit basis of aggregate marks obtained by Candidates in Graduate and Diploma respectively.
